The French are making a film about Coco Chanel, titled, Coco avant Chanel (Coco before Chanel). Played by the very elegant audience favourite Audrey Tautou, it takes you through Coco's life and loves before she threw herself headfirst into designing Chanel.
Full of charming decadence, afternoons on sweeping lawns, long nights in Champagne, beautiful ballroom scenes with Audrey in full corset dress, this one is a visual feast.
Just released in the States, it will take a while to reach our shores.
